About

From the company's SBA profile, updated Apr 2026

Amidon (360 Ballistics, LLC) is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that designs and manufactures ballistic and protective concrete systems. Amidon Ballistic Concrete is engineered to capture rounds rather than deflect them, for live-fire shoot houses, grenade houses, MOUT sites and ranges. In U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center testing, it matched SACON's ballistic performance and recorded higher average core compressive strength, 1,923 vs. 1,390 psi. An eight-inch ArmorBlock wall filled with 4,500 psi Amidon Shield and #4 rebar at 16 inches on center stopped a .50 caliber M33 round at 3 inches of penetration, with no spalling, cracking or deformation on the back face (independent test, February 2025). Amidon also supplies training equipment and third-party ballistic panel systems. Amidon materials have captured more than 150 million rounds and contained more than 120,000 detonations. Round and detonation figures reflect Amidon's broader historical portfolio.
