About

From the company's SBA profile, updated Jul 2026

Blue Ash Industrial Supply was founded in 1984, when Bob Ochs opened his cutting tool business in a small warehouse in Cincinnati. The passing decades saw BAIS grow in size and expand its offerings, but the founder’s core philosophy remained the same: “Quality and customer satisfaction are first and foremost, so do whatever it takes to accomplish this.” Because of this, many of our customers have been with us since the beginning and remain loyal to us today.
